Lok. Moskou stadium
The recently finished Locomotiv sports stadium in the Russian capital Moscow accommodates 35,000 spectators for football and hockey events, among other things. For the impressive, ultramodern roof construction they looked for a light, reliable, unbreakable, and hence hardwearing material to protect visitors against the elements. They ended up using more than 60 tonnes of polycarbonate sheets.
